A coach is someone who comes alongside you to support you in your journey to achieve your goals. A coach asks powerful questions, helps you consider options and resources, and then works with you to develop an action plan and next steps. One of the biggest takeaways from a coaching session is a plan and a strategy for accountability.
Coaching assumes that every person is innately creative, resourceful, and whole. At any given moment that may not feel true for you, but a trained coach can draw out your creativity, your resourcefulness, and help you move toward wholeness. I am an ordained minister of Word and Sacrament in the Presbyterian Church (USA) and have served congregations in Ohio and Kansas. I received my M.Div. from Princeton Theological Seminary in Princeton, New Jersey. I'm fully trained in Transitional Ministry and hold one unit of Clinical Pastoral Education. Recently, I finished 60 hours of training for Coach-Specific Training by Coach Training for Leaders, a certified agent of the International Coach Federation and will have full certification by the end of 2019. I am active in numerous community agencies and boards, including the Western Kansas Community Foundation. I have served the PC(USA) locally through committee work, administrative commissions and as Moderator of the Presbytery of Southern Kansas. I've also served regionally as a Commissioner to the Synod of Mid America and nationally as a Teaching Elder Commissioner to the 222nd General Assembly (Portland 2016).

I recognize that certain information of a confidential manner may be shared within the coaching relationship. I will not, at any time either directly or indirectly, use this information for my benefit nor disclose said information to anyone else without specific approval of the client (excluding disclosure of illegal or unethical activities). As the client, you understand that the power of the coaching relationship can only be granted by you.
I am in the process of obtaining the Associate Certified Coach credential through the International Coach Federation.
